Guincho is inside the natural park, so anything more than people standing – chairs, an arch, decoration – should be checked with the park in advance.

The order of the day is fixed by the wind. Guincho wants you there soon after sunrise, when the beach is still and the north wind has not woken; the bay and harbour, protected by the town, can absorb the later hours. In practice, the coverage starts early and ends late afternoon. The off-season is a serious option: in winter Guincho is quieter and the light lower all day, and the bay is still sheltered.

What happens if the weather is bad on the morning?

Do we need permission for a ceremony on the beach?
