Can a big brother, sister or grandparent join a few frames?
A few, timed for a settled moment. Most of the 30 min is spent on the newborn alone, yet a small hand resting on the blanket or a grandmother cradling the baby beside the window is frequently the picture that gets framed. Let us know beforehand who is coming, so time is set aside for them.
How is the baby handled during the session?
Gently and simply. The baby lies on a soft surface, rests in a parent’s arms, or is swaddled, and a parent stays within reach the entire time. There are no balanced poses and nothing suspended. When the baby stirs for a feed, the session pauses until they drift off again.
